As sunlight shines through window pane
To that familar spot on the floor
The place where you used to lie
But now you are no more
Our feet would walk together
Down our routine trail
So joyous were those times of ours
As you wagged your tail
But now those times of fun have gone
And in my heart you’ll stay
I will cherish our memories
Until we meet again some day
