Good was your heart in friendship sound,


Loved and respected by all around,


A beautiful life came to an end,


You died as you lived, everyone’s friend.

 



You left us oh so suddenly,


We could only weep and cry,


But the hardest part of all was,


We never said goodbye.

 



We cannot bring the old days back,


When we were all together,


But fond and loving thoughts of you,

The happy hours we once enjoyed,


How sweet their memory still,


But death has left a vacant place,

You seem to smile and say,

And often speak your name,

And your photo in a frame.
